As a field worker, you will work proactively, advisory, and supportive with children and youth. You will find yourself in environments where children and youth are present. The goal is to intervene early to break destructive antisocial behavior among children and youth in Alvesta Municipality. You will need to implement interventions at the community, group, and individual levels, and the entire Alvesta Municipality will be your work area. Field workers build relationships and proactively engage by getting to know children and youth in different areas based on the conditions of those areas.

As a field worker, you are part of the area groups and play an important role in coordinating interventions.
The meeting with children, youth, and parents is based on voluntariness, trust, and respect to early detect any needs for support among children and youth and, if necessary, guide them to the right contacts and interventions. Examples of tasks:

- Advisory and support conversations with youth, guardians, and other significant individuals, for example, regarding alcohol/drugs, crime, mental health, life choices.
- Work with structured programs for youth, with various themes such as friendship, violence, consent, alcohol/drugs, life choices.
Part of your position will be scheduled for evenings and weekends.
